Collection: Shirley Crockett

Shirley Crockett is a hooked rug artist who splits her time between Nova Scotia and Toronto. She has a love for creating and making things with her hands, and has been sewing and knitting for several years. Born in Montreal, Shirley enjoys the city life, but draws inspiration for her works from the ocean. 

Shirley began her career as a hooked rug artist in 2009, when she visited a shop in Lunenburg, NS and became inspired to create her first stair carpet. She worked with a local group of women to learn the craft, and began experimenting with different designs for her own home. Eventually, she opened her own shop, where she sells original hooked rug designs as wall hangings, coasters, cushions, and more.
