The author explains in his introduction that this book is intended either for the pioneer of textiles who wishes to know the ethnic origin of this technique, or for the ethnologist who wishes to learn a new profession for his studies. This rare technique is well illustrated and organized. The modern textile artist will find a new adventure in this ancient technique. Numerous illustrations and black and white photos are presented.
